The Baby Name Game

In my opinion, one of the funnest (er... most fun?) parts of having a baby is choosing a name. But it's also one of the hardest. Why? Well, because it's not just up to me. I have a husband, and we seem to have our own ideas of the perfect name. So far we've really only discussed girl names, because we are both hoping for a girl. Plus, if it's a boy, we pretty much have a name picked out (it's what we were going to name our second boy, but it didn't fit him).
So far, we only have one girl name that we both like. So, although it's not at the top of either of our lists, it is at the top of "our" list. And no, I'm not going to tell you what it is. I've learned my lesson from past experiences. You start telling people the names you're thinking of, and they feel it necessary to express thier opinion whether they love it or hate it. If you hate my baby's name, I'd rather not know, but if I must know, I'd rather know after it's all said and done (that way your opinion won't sway me one way or another, which is how it should be).

PS- The real reason I wrote this post is because I love the photo that I swiped from BabyCenter.com. Isn't it great?

Oh, you're no fun!! I love hearing people's baby names. I would have to have 20 kids to use all of the baby names I like. (Mostly girls.)

I agree, although it does make some people cranky. (your mom wasn't happy when we wouldn't tell her our name ideas)

Hey Lura--

I wanted to call you today or yesterday to play, cause I had both these days off, but Kaysen is sick again! It seems like he just gets better, then someone else gets sick, and then it goes back to him. I am thinking about you all the time, though, and want to get together ASAP!! I'll call you when he is better. Hope you're doing OK.

I was hoping that it was your belly in the photo.
